David Morley Architects is an award-winning London-based architectural practice specialising in projects that are both evolutionary and revolutionary, building on tradition as well as creating prototypes for the future. The design of the apartments in the Plimsoll Building is influenced by the existing industrial vernacular, an important reminder of the rich heritage and history of King’s Cross.

Johnson Naylor is an interior architecture and design practice based in Clerkenwell, London. Founded in 1990 by Brian Johnson and Fiona Naylor, they have developed a reputation for delivering inventive, contextual and elegant design. They apply intelligence and sensitivity to create enduring interiors, with layered designs that maintain an inherent level of quality in every detail.

The interior architecture of the apartments responds to the unique context and surroundings of King’s Cross.

Dan Pearson Studio

Landscape Designer

Dan Pearson Studio is an award-winning landscape design practice based in London. Their designs are developed through a full dialogue with the surrounding environment, buildings and users of the space. Their key strength is place making, aiming to create timeless spaces which encourage people to connect with nature. The practice won Best in Show at the Chelsea Flower Show 2015.

The garden in the Plimsoll Building is designed as a three-dimensional oasis of greenery, with rooflights integrated as sculptural features within the landscape. Its distinctive planting seeks to create a visual connection between the residents’ podium garden and the canalside Gasholder Park which it overlooks.
